The Neitz IO-α (IO-Alpha) LED binocular indirect ophthalmoscope is a head-mounted instrument for stereoscopic observation of the fundus during eye examinations. This configuration includes the IO-BP3 battery pack for battery-powered operation.
Warm-color LED illumination and separate adjustments for the illumination and observation systems support examination through pupils as small as 2 mm. Three illumination field sizes and UV, red-free, and cobalt blue filters allow the examiner to adjust illumination for different observation needs.
