Designed to deliver a uniform retro-illuminated testing surface, perfect for high contrast and low contrast LogMAR tests such as ETDRS, LEA SYMBOLS®, LEA NUMBERS®, E and C Charts, and more. This advanced cabinet features a pure-white LED light source, offering a compact design with a depth of only 3.0 inches—significantly smaller than traditional ETDRS light boxes.
Unlike fluorescent bulb cabinets, which are bulkier (8 inches deep) and require frequent maintenance, the ESC2000™ uses cutting-edge LED technology for low-cost operation and minimal upkeep. The LEDs boast an impressive 50,000-hour lifespan (equivalent to 20+ years of normal use), eliminating the need for annual bulb replacements. Simply power on the ESC2000™ and it's ready for immediate testing.
For international use, the ESC2000™ includes a universal power supply, easily adaptable from 100V to 240V. It also features a convenient storage compartment in the back for keeping additional charts secure.
