This moisture chamber permits the wearer to see through the patch which makes this item appropriate for Bells Palsy and Dry Eye patients. This patch cuts down on the airflow to the eye. The non-latex foam fits over either eye with a wide elastic band ensuring a secure and comfortable fit.

The small size will fit children and petite patients.

Large chambers are 2 13/16" x 1 15/16" (72mm x 50mm). Will fit most adults.

I've been using these moisture chambers since 2012 to protect my left eye at night due to nerve damage that keeps my eye from closing.
Originally my ophthalmologist and gave me one and it worked so well I contacted the manufacturer that was on the label.

has some advantages over the other type

has some advantages over the other type. 1) better foam, 2) lower profile so it doesn't scratch glasses. But it doesn't fit as well in some way that restricts peripheral vision. I use this for sleeping not all day around the house etc.
