The Vision in Preschoolers (VIP) Complete Package combines crowded single LEA SYMBOLS® screening materials with a VIP Illuminator for testing at 5 feet (1.5 meters). The test format was developed for Phase 2 of the National Eye Institute-sponsored VIP Study.
The package includes crowded-symbol disk cards with masking windows for 3-year-olds at 20/50 and for 4- and 5-year-olds at 20/40, with one side for each eye. A baseline flip book, response key (lap card), four individual training cards, and testing-distance cord support setup and presentation.
The VIP Illuminator, universal power supply, Fun Frame occluders for children, recording form, and instructions are included.
