These Optokinetic Flags are used to produce optokinetic nystagmus (OKN) physiologic jerk in a patient's eyes. This is elicited when the patient attempts to fixate on moving, alternative, contrasting squares that are moved in the field of vision.
The flags are come in two variants: red and white or black and white. They are 27" (68 cm) long and 3.5" (8.9 cm) wide. The stripe segments are 1½" (4 cm) long. Each flag comes with a guide.
