The Bi-Nasal Occluder, also known as a Bi-Nasal Ruler, is designed to help vision care professionals determine the appropriate degree of nasal occlusion for patients experiencing binocular vision and visual processing difficulties.

Bi-nasal occlusion may be used in the management of patients with acquired brain injuries, including traumatic brain injury (TBI) and stroke, as well as patients experiencing double vision, amblyopia, esotropia, convergence excess, divergence insufficiency, and visual overstimulation or confusion.

The Bi-Nasal Occluder helps practitioners determine the amount of nasal occlusion needed to reduce or eliminate symptoms. Its graduated measurements also allow for repeatable, precise placement of occlusion foils or tape on spectacle lenses.

It can also be used as a guide for properly cutting and positioning Bangerter Occlusion Foils.
